Hotflush Podcast 5 from Jus Wan

It’s a duality of mixes today, the second from Jus Wan for the Hotflush podcast. This one is the light to the darkness of the NTRLD mix for Redline, both together demonstrate all manner of fresh sounds in dubstep today. Both are also the fifth mix in their respective series.  SPOOKY.

A tracklist isn’t available for this one, but it’s coming from the deeper side of things.  Jacques Cousteau could never get this low.  Productions inside from Jus Wan, Addison Groove, DJG, Von D, DFRNT, and many more.  Look out for loads of new releases coming from these folks, DJG has about 5 coming out very soon, Von D has one soon come on Argon (and probably more), and Jus Wan himself is about set off a new label Pushing Red with the release Azure/Dwell and has one coming soon on Tube 10.

If you’re feeling this check out my Monday night show on dubstep.FM @ 6pm PST, and the Dubs Alive show on Thursdays at 6pm PST.  Also if you’re in the bay area make sure you hit up The Deep End tonight.

Svpreme Fiend - Prover

Svpreme FiendThis one’s a deep song from Svpreme Fiend (v for u in homage to black metal) out of Queens, NY.  The song conjures images of walking home in the rain late at night and watching the city alive with workers and machines.  You pass by a street musician who is singing on an ancient sound system in a church and sit down to have a listen.  Out comes this tune.

Effected vocals coexist with synth bells and clicks for ambiance leading to a sound akin to Synkro, Pangaea, VVV, DFRNT, or Burial.  A must listen for fans of the deeper sound in dubstep/2-step.
