DJ Dials Joker Promo mix and a Free Gucci Mane Remix

DJ Dials hooked me up with this hot promo mix for the Joker & Nomad show on friday where he’s playing at the Frite Nite showcase (along with NastyNasty).  This one is really diverse, with some of that Joker purple sound, Hudson Mohawke, alien synth sounds from Eskmo, Fantastic Mr. Fox and Ikonika, and filthy tracks from Stagga, Sduk and Skream.  Love these selections and the way the intensity ebbs and flows. Get on the DL!

Full info on the Joker show here.

Surefire 008 with Jneiro Jarel, Low Limit and Djunya

Location: The Triple Crown (map & info)
For over a decade, Jneiro Jarel (aka Dr. Who Dat?) has provided listeners with an unbelievably eclectic mix of sounds ranging from hip hop to Brazilian funk to bass music. With more monikers than Kool Keith, his collaborations and producer credits are almost too many to mention. Highlights include works with Kujo Goodie (as Willie Isz), MF Doom, TV on the Radio and many more. JJ’s music has been cited by Flying Lotus as one of his major influences in developing the Brainfeeder sound. These days he can be seen smashing parties such as Stones Throw’s The Do Over and Low End Theory to rave reviews. Surefire Sound is pleased to be able to host such a prolific talent… or as the Dr. himself puts it, “Your favorite producer’s favorite producer’s favorite artist and producer!”
